The Flaming Carousel has been selected as an Honorarium project for Burning Man 2026!!!

The costs to bring The Flaming Carousel are significant and are estimated to be $60,000-$70,000 (not including any labor).  The cost to build The Flaming Carousel has been over $500,000.  Grants were given to the creature artists from $4,500-$5,500 per creature/sled.

Some of our biggest costs:

• Shipping three 20′ containers from Atlanta
• Generator purchase
• Fuel (propane – around 200 gallon per night, propane tank rental, gas for generator)
• Barricade rental/purchase
• Additional lighting
• Propane fittings/hoses (1000+ feet)
• Materials to “dust proof” bearings, slip ring, electrical… etc.
